Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Suniai ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Description of Service
Suniai is a mobile application that uses speech recognition to identify Gurbani shabads from live recitation. The App allows users to listen to Gurbani, identify shabads, and read them in multiple scripts and languages.
License
Suniai grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices in the App
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, and user interface, is the property of Suniai and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Gurbani text and translations displayed in the App are sourced from publicly available repositories and are in the public domain. Suniai does not claim ownership over Gurbani content.
Third-Party Services
The App relies on third-party services for speech recognition and Gurbani search. These services are provided "as is" and may be subject to their own terms and conditions. Suniai is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of third-party services.
User Conduct
You agree to use the App respectfully and in a manner consistent with the reverence of Gurbani. You may not use the App to create, store, or distribute content that is offensive, harmful, or disrespectful to any religious tradition.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Suniai does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that shabad identification will be accurate in all cases. Recognition accuracy depends on audio quality, background noise, and recitation clarity.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Suniai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the App.
Modifications
Suniai reserves the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
